Photo Editor for Blackberry
I have been looking for an image editor for Blackberry for quite some time now, but when I tried to Google it, the results were scarce. After reading different Blackberry sites, I was able to find imgEdit by Toysoft, Inc. It is a paid app, but it allows you download the trial version and use it 20 times.
I tried the different options of the app, and even before I finished using up 20 tries, I was ready to purchase it. It works with the BlackBerry® OS 5.0 and 6.0, and it requires 210KB memory to install.
imgEdit supports BMP, GIF, JPG and PNG image file types. You can integrate it with your Media Files and Camera applications. imgEdit allows you to rotate, resize, crop, zoom, flip and mirror any images. There are also photo effects that you can use on an image, such as Greyscale, Sepia, Negative, Interlace, Paint, Warhol, and a Freehand tool that allows you to select any points on a photo to apply a special effect on it.
Other options are changing the RGB, HSB and Brightness of an image. Just like any photo on your Media Files, you can set the edited image as a wallpaper. If you have a touch screen device, you can draw simple lines, circles and rectangles using the Drawing tool. imgEdit also allows you save the image as a new file and you can send the edited image via email.
